I love useless data, and I love skateboarding. But you couldn’t have picked a worse sport to go heavy into data on. Other than competitions, there is very little data to compile that isn’t just subjective. If you want to grow your channel do similar content about a sport with objective data. Like baseball or even poker. You will never be fully accepted in mass from a sport that mainly hates competition

I think Andy's lack of prowess with switch tricks speaks to his style and skate philosophy, which is born of freestyle and the mentality of making "art" with his skateboard. Skating switch is more about technical proficiency than art. Asking Andy to learn things switch would be like asking Van Gogh to paint with his left hand. He'd be like "why the fuck would I do that?"
